Cadillac CTS Coupe

image Once again, our spies have caught the 2010 Cadillac CTS coupe uncovered outside of the Milford Proving Grounds with all the camouflage removed from this sleek two door! Spies also caught a very modestly camouflaged prototype sporting uncovered, production taillights.

Code-named GMX226, the stylish coupe obviously follows the CTS coupe concept very closely. Even the dual exhaust will make production. Only the concept front end will see a minor toning down to bring it inline with the CTS sedan. The coupe will feature a backup camera, which you can see under the chrome strip on the rear. We can also see an elegant engraving of the "Cadillac" script on that rear strip. Additionally, the coupe won’t have tradition door handles, but will instead use a touch pad setup.

Powertrains should include the regular, 263hp, 3.6L V6 and the 304hp, direct injection V6. The V-Series CTS Coupe spotted recently will pack the 6.2L, supercharged V8 known as the "LSA" motor. Production of the regular coupe, as well as the V-Series, will start in May of 2009 at the Lansing Grand River Plant. The official debut of the regular coupe is set for the LA Auto Show in November.
