Mercedes has recently announced its all-new 2.2 L Diesel Engine which is going to be revealed in its C-Class segment as C 250 CDI Prime Edition. The Engine will produce 150 KW / 204 BHP and 500 Nm of Torque. It can run from 0 - 100 Km/h in just 7.0 Seconds, and with a Top speed of 250 Km/h. It comes with a Four Cylinder, sport Six-Speed Manual transmission with a 16-inch alloys wheels with 205/55 R16 tyres as standard - in addition to this, 16-inch light-alloy wheels in sporty 7-spoke design (likewise 205/55 R16 tyres) and 17-inch light-alloy wheels in 5-twin-spoke design with wide-base tyres (225/45 R17 at front, 205/40 R17 at rear) are available as no-cost options.
The Prime edition consumes 5.2 litres of fuel per hundred kilometers (NEDC),
The company has said that C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Prime Edition is limited to 5000 units at a cost of 40,638.50 euros (including VAT).
